Roald Dahl Day

13th September 2016

We started off our year full of fun activities with all pupils and staff gathering together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl’s birthday. The day was spent in costume with pupils completing Roald Dahl themed lessons and joining in with the live national broadcast on the Puffinlive website.  The Year 7 pupils took part in a ‘Play for a Day’ theatre workshop run by the Konflux Theatre. They spent the day rehearsing their performance skills and then delivered a whole school play which explored the inspiration behind Roald Dahl’s stories and his imaginative use of vocabulary which has entertained children through the generations.  Please look out for the many activities that are planned to follow.
