KS2 and 3 Centre for Life Visits

6th April 2017

All of our pupils have taken part in the Centre for Life visits this week.  The children got the opportunity to explore the Science Centre and they took part in a workshop involving a circus of fun, challenging maths activities.

The Brain Zone and the Curiosity Zone were enjoyed by the children especially the ‘Sip of Conflict’ - a drinking fountain disguised as a toilet bowl. Their brains knew the water was clean and drinkable but were they happy to have a drink and not think 'yuk'?

They also watched and participated in the Astronavigation Planetarium show; took part on a Maths Trail and looked at Brick History.

It was a busy, fun few days enjoyed by staff and pupils.
