KS2 and 3 Centre for Life Visit

Our KS2 and 3 pupils had 2 great days at the International Centre for Life in Newcastle this week. The children got the opportunity to explore the Science Centre and they took part in a workshop involving a circus of fun, challenging maths activities.

The Brain Zone and the Curiosity Zone were enjoyed by the children especially the ‘Sip of Conflict’ - a drinking fountain disguised as a toilet bowl. Their brains knew the water was clean and drinkable but were they happy to have a drink and not think 'yuk'?

They also watched and participated in the Astronavigation Planetarium show; took part on a Maths Trail and looked at Brick History.

It was a busy, fun few days enjoyed by staff and pupils.
